The Boulder Morning: Maple-Cardamom Lion’s Mane Latte
There’s something about the first cup of coffee before the day gets moving. The kitchen is quiet, the mountains are catching the light, and there’s still time to make something just for you.
This maple-cardamom latte brings a little warmth to that moment. Fresh espresso meets creamy oat milk, a touch of maple, and the gentle spice of cardamom. Clinically Informed’s glycerin-based, alcohol-free Lion’s Mane tincture stirs right into the finished drink.
For a local touch, make it with your favorite Boxcar coffee.
Makes: 1 latte
Time: 5 minutes
Featured tincture: Clinically Informed Lion’s Mane

Ingredients
2 shots espresso, or ¼ cup strongly brewed coffee
¾ cup oat milk or milk of choice
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup, optional
⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom
Small pinch of sea salt
Clinically Informed Lion’s Mane tincture, measured according to the label directions
Ground cinnamon, for finishing
Method
Brew the espresso into your favorite mug.
Stir in the maple syrup, cardamom, and salt.
Warm the milk in a small saucepan until steaming, then froth.
Pour the milk into the coffee. Once comfortably warm to drink, stir in the measured Lion’s Mane tincture.
Finish with a light dusting of cinnamon.
Make it your own
For an iced version, dissolve the maple, cardamom, and salt in the warm espresso. Stir in the tincture, then pour over ice and add cold milk.
Start with less maple if you prefer a less sweet latte—the glycerin-based tincture brings a little sweetness of its own.
